Homer Chin (Reproductive Medicine)

Peers and students alike have often said that Homer Chin provides a superb role model for all academic physicians, resident physicians, and medical students. His passion for and commitment to teaching combined with his genuine concern for and ability to communicate with patients and trainees have made him an extraordinary teacher and clinician. Dr. Chin’s evaluations are filled with accolades and appreciation, and they make it clear that he has mentored and inspired countless students to become better clinicians, surgeons, and teachers. He has won every major teaching award—often multiple times—including the Kaiser Permanente Excellence in Teaching Award; the James H. Price Resident Teaching Award; the Association of Professors in Gynecology and Obstetrics Excellence in Teaching Award; and the prestigious AAMC Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award. Dr. Chin’s dedication and unwavering commitment have made a phenomenal impact on those that have been fortunate enough to come under his tutelage.
