Senate Manual

Overview of the Senate Manual

The Manual of the Academic Senate codifies membership, authority, organization and academic requirements and includes the following sections:

  • Bylaws
    Bylaws set forth the membership, authority and organization of the Senate.
  • Regulations
    Regulations define requirements for student admission, scholarship, degree and courses and curricula.
  • Appendices
    Appendices include Standing Orders of the Regents, various student policies, and bylaws of the faculty of the San Diego division of the Academic Senate.
