How are the Chair and Vice Chair chosen?
A Vice Chair (or Chair-Elect) is elected in the spring by Senate members to serve a one year as Vice Chair commencing September 1st before serving a second year as Chair of the Division. Candidates for Vice Chair may be nominated by petition (of five Senate members) or by the Committee on Committees.
