Committees - Term of Service
Unless another term of service is specified in these Bylaws, the terms of service of the members and chairs of standing committees appointed by the Committee on Committees shall begin on September 1 immediately following their appointment and shall terminate on August 31 one year later. Any special committee shall cease to exist on August 31 immediately following its establishment, unless (1) a definite term of existence is specified in its enabling act or (2) the term of existence is continued by appropriate action of the Representative Assembly or the Division.
