eGrants is a web-based system that enables eligible UC San Diego faculty and research scientists to create and submit online applications for Academic Senate research, travel, and intercampus exchange grants. Information about each of the Senate's grant funding programs can be found here.
eGrants will be phased into use for the Travel and Research/Intercampus Exchange Funding Programs according to the following schedule:
The General Campus, Health Sciences, and Marine Sciences Research Grant Committees will begin accepting applications for travel to scholarly meetings through eGrants on February 1, 2018. Paper and/or PDF travel applications will no longer be accepted after this date.
The Academic Senate will be conducting a pilot program between February 20 and March 23, 2018 that will allow prospective research and intercampus exchange applicants to apply for funding via eGrants and provide feedback on their experience. Contact Michelle Null if you are interested in participating.
The eGrants development team will be addressing any issues that surface during the pilot program and working on additional enhancements through June 30. The Research Grant Committees will begin accepting all research and intercampus exchange applications through eGrants on July 1, 2018; paper and/or PDF applications will no longer be accepted after this date.
