The Systemwide Academic Senate passed an Open Access policy on July 24, 2013. This policy will require faculty at UC Los Angeles, UC Irvine, and UC San Francisco to deposit their articles in a publicly accessible repository beginning on November 1, 2013.  The policy will take effect on the other seven campuses on November 1, 2014.
