The final meeting of the 2017-18 academic year is scheduled for Tuesday, June 5th at 3:30 p.m., in the Garren Auditorium of the Biomedical Sciences Building (first floor). The Notice of Meeting and all pertinent documents may be found in the Resources box on the right side of this page.
The Chancellor will address the Assembly at this meeting. Robert Clossin, Director-Campus Planning, will discuss the campus long-range development plans, and Joel King, AVC and Campus Architect, will provide an update on the North Torrey Pines Living & Learning Neighborhood project. Proposals will be made to grant academic unit status to the Halicioğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI); to amend Divisional Senate Regulation 600, Campus Graduation Requirements - (A)(3) Double Majors & (C) Maximum Unit Limitation; and to establish MS & PhD degrees in Electrical & Computer Engineering (Machine Learning and Data Science).
